Kartchner Caverns State
Park is 9 1/2 miles
South of Interstate 10
on State Route 90
Here
is the entrance sign on
the way to the Discovery
Center.
All the
walkways are landscaped
with all local desert
plants.
Here
we are walking to the
Discovery Center to to
check in for our tour.
We saved the $6 parking
fee by buying our
tickets in advance. They
don't allow cameras on
the tour so we will put
the camera in a locker
for now. Below is a film
taken inside the cave.
After
a tour of the caverns,
we had lunch at the "Bat
Cave Cafe" with Annette
and Charley. They make a
fantastic Pizza here.

There are
trails in the hills
behind the Discovery
Center you can hike that
are all part of
Kartchner Caverns
State Park.
